Recognising the urgency of the issue surrounding the future of the UK’s high streets and town centres, this special Summit brings together an unprecedented group of all the key stakeholders who have a role to play in rejuvenating high streets.
This important campaign brings together an unprecedented group of stakeholders directly involved with the long-term future of Britain’s High Streets and Town Centres including the British Retail Consortium, the British Property Federation, the British Council of Shopping Centres and the Association of Town Centre Managers.
This special summit will mark the culmination of Retail Week Editor, Tim Danaher’s print-campaign, and fully address the issues and offer practical insights and solutions.
“The well-being of our towns and cities, especially the smaller ones, is intimately linked to the vibrancy and amenity of their centres. This in turn is dependent on a successful retail offer, which is why so many major town centre improvements have been led by retail development. Without retail, towns wither. How can this be prevented? This extremely timely and welcome conference will examine how this and related problems can best be addressed in the current economic climate.”
Paul Finch OBE, Chairman – Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment
